The conservative restoration of the building made use of wood and stone – the types of materials used in ancient times – while also embracing evocative modern detail. The environment is one that offers the warmth of home as well as an atmosphere of timelessness.  The particular scent of our wood, the naturalness of our fabrics and the harmony of colours blend with the delicious flavours of our breakfast to provide an unparalleled experience.

We favour all that is biological and natural: Pine shavings in our pillows release a pleasant balsamic essence to enhance the feeling of comfort and ease breathing; goose feathers in our pillows and duvets offer gentle support and are conducive to sleep; the soft cotton of our bathrobes,  towels and  slippers provides freshness and comfort; the organic components of our bath sets  guarantee natural well-being.
